Volunteer Opportunities at Pioneer Manor Long-Term Care Home

Pioneer Manor is seeking dedicated volunteers who want to enrich the lives of our residents. If you’re interested in helping with portering, meal assistance, one-on-one visits or supporting the Life Enrichment department, we’d love to hear from you!

Are at least 16 years of age

  • Submit a Level 3 criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). You will receive an email with instructions on how to complete a check. A letter from the City of Greater Sudbury will be provided and must be included with your application.
  • Provide documentation of a Tuberculin/Mantoux Skin Test (Step 2). If you have previously completed Step 2 and have documentation, only a Step 1 test may be required.
  • Attend a mandatory training session.
