Intersection Pedestrian Signals

Intersection Pedestrian Signals help people to cross busy streets and may be used at locations other than the intersection of two streets. Intersection Pedestrian Signals include:

  • Lights with a walking person, a flashing hand symbol and a solid hand symbol for pedestrians
  • Red, Yellow and Green traffic lights for vehicles on the street pedestrians are crossing

Locations where Intersection Pedestrian Signals are installed:

  • LaSalle Boulevard at Holland Road (New Sudbury Library)
  • Lloyd Street at Brady Street
  • Paris Street at Chartwell Southwind Retirement Residence
  • Paris Street at Plaza 69/Rumball Terrace
  • Regent Street at Hazel Street
  • Regent Street at Greater Sudbury Utilities (to be completed Fall 2018)
  • Second Avenue at Kenwood Street
