Traffic Calming
The City of Greater Sudbury will be installing traffic calming measures on various roadways listed below.
Construction by the City’s contractor, GIP Interpaving Limited, will be completed in the 2026 construction season.
This project is part of the Council-approved traffic calming program and is funded in part through the Automated Speed Enforcement Road Safety Fund to reduce speeding and help create safer neighbourhood streets for all road users.
Construction Details:
Auger Avenue, between Falconbridge Road and Lasalle Boulevard, Sudbury
- Six speed tables will be installed along Auger Avenue to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve overall road safety.
Brenda Drive, between Moonrock Avenue and St. Charles Lake Road, Sudbury
- Nine speed humps will be installed along Brenda Drive to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve overall road safety.
Grandview Boulevard, between Montrose Avenue and Moss Street, Sudbury
- Three speed humps will be installed along Grandview Boulevard to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve overall road safety.
King Street, between Notre Dame Avenue and Morin Avenue, Sudbury
- Seven speed humps will be installed along King Street to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve overall road safety.
Robinson Drive, between Kelly Lake Road and Southview Drive, Sudbury
- Eight speed humps will be installed along Robinson Drive to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve overall road safety.
