Construction Startup Notice- July 13, 2026
Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Extension
The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing road, watermain and sanitary sewer improvements on Belisle Drive between Lamondin Street and Valleyview Road in Val Caron.
This project is part of the Council-approved Employment Land Strategy that links planning, infrastructure and economic development to ensure that the city has an adequate supply of serviced industrial land, and policy and incentive frameworks in place to stimulate investment, development and job creation.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Garson Pipe Contractors Limited, will begin in July and is expected to be completed by November 2026.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours, Monday to Friday.

Construction Details:
- Installation of a new watermain extension to provide municipal water service connections to each property.
- Installation of a new sanitary sewer service extension to provide connections to each property.
- Road restoration work will be completed following the conclusion of all underground infrastructure works.
