Pets and Service Animals

Pets are permitted on the bus only when contained within a proper carrying container. The container should be placed on the floor of the bus and not on the seats or the wheel wells.

Working animals assist persons with disabilities in our community. A working animal is allowed on board under the following circumstances, and documentation must be presented if requested by the driver:

• A harness or vest is in use. 
• A letter is available from a physician or nurse verifying that the animal is required for reasons relating to a disability.
