Boarding and Exiting

To ensure you don't miss your bus, please arrive at the bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled bus arrival time. Passengers are asked to signal as the bus approaches to help the operator to prepare to stop.A QR code directing passengers to the My Bus app is available. The app allows you to track your bus' arrival in real time.

Please board the bus by the front door then move toward the back of the bus to make room for others. Please leave the front seats for those who may find it difficult to make their way to the back of the bus.

Please exit the bus by the back doors.

Crossing in front of the bus is unsafe. Always cross at the back of the bus or wait until the bus has pulled away from the curb.

Always cross at designated crosswalks or intersections. Stay alert and avoid distractions such as phones or music.

Make eye contact with drivers before crossing and follow all traffic signals

GOVA Transit reminds passengers to wait at a cleared area close to their bus stop, such as a driveway or crosswalk, if their stop is obstructed by snow. Drivers will stop at clearings close to the stop to enable passengers to board and exit the bus. Passengers are asked to signal as the bus approaches to help the operator to prepare to stop.
