Option 2: Have a Private Contractor Perform the Culvert Work
- If you are having a private contractor do the work, you will need to apply for a Road Occupancy Permit through Pronto before any work can take place.
- Once the culvert has been installed (but not backfilled) you will need to call 311 to set up an appointment to have the culvert inspected by the area foreperson.
- Further information related to Road Occupancy permits can be found: www.greatersudbury.ca/live/transportation-parking-and-roads/traffic-interruptions-or-road-closures
Please note, prior to work, the contractor must provide the City with a Certificate of Insurance for general liability in the amount of $5,000,000.
