  • Gather information about the patient 
  • Clear a path to the patient
    • unlock doors
    • move furniture 
    • secure pets
  • Turn on outside lights and clear the driveway
  • Make sure your house number is visible or have someone wait outside 
  • Do not move the patient unless their life is threatened
