This station is staffed by volunteer firefighters. Volunteer firefighters don’t reside in the station. They are notified of emergency calls at their homes or workplaces and report to the station before responding. All firefighters are trained according to current regulations and Council-approved service levels.

Future Plans

Staff have been directed to construct a new Lively station at an ideal location, with costs to be included in future capital plans. Once completed, the existing Waters and Lively stations will be consolidated into the new station location.
