How late is the shelter open?

The shelter is open to the public until 4 p.m. on weekdays and 2 p.m. on weekends. After those hours, the shelter is closed to the public. Animal Control Officers may bring animals to the shelter until approximately 8 p.m., but public services are not available at that time. Overnight attendance occurs only in emergency situations, such as responding to an animal impound.
