How are the animals cared for?

Animal welfare is at the heart of shelter operations. 

Staff provide daily exercise, enrichment and attentive care to help keep animals healthy, comfortable and as stress-free as possible while they await reunification with their owners or adoption. 

Providing regular enrichment and exercise also helps reduce stress-related behaviours, including excessive barking.
