Women Leading with Impact: An Evening with Arlene Dickinson to Bring Together Northern Ontario's Women in Business

Greater Sudbury, ON – On Monday, June 15, 2026, a premier regional event will spotlight women in entrepreneurship and leadership as Women Leading with Impact: An Evening with Arlene Dickinson comes to Greater Sudbury. 

An initiative of the NOW Program and funded by FedNor, this highly anticipated event is presented in collaboration with the City of Greater Sudbury’s Regional Business Centre, as well as LAMBAC, and the Nickel Basin Federal Development Corporation. The evening will bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community partners from across the region for a night of inspiration, connection, and practical insight.

Headlining the event is Arlene Dickinson, Canadian business leader, venture capitalist, and bestselling author. With more than 35 years of experience building and scaling successful businesses, Dickinson is the Founder and General Partner of District Ventures Capital and one of Canada’s most recognized voices in entrepreneurship, innovation, and business leadership. 

Attendees will gain real-world insights from one of the country’s most respected business figures, hear candid lessons from her entrepreneurial journey, and connect with women across all stages of business, from emerging entrepreneurs to established leaders. The evening is designed to spark meaningful conversations, foster collaboration, and strengthen the regional business ecosystem. 

The event takes place June 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vale Cavern, Science North, in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Programming will include a keynote presentation and moderated Q&A with Arlene Dickinson, followed by an extended networking session.
