Accepting Feedback for Phase 2 of the Water/Wastewater Master Plan Update

The City of Greater Sudbury is updating its Water and Wastewater Master Plan, a long-term planning document that helps guide infrastructure investment, support forecasted growth and ensure safe, reliable water and wastewater services in all communities.

The study is following the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process and is currently in phase 2, which focuses on identifying system needs, reviewing existing conditions and assessing potential solutions.

Residents are invited to share comments about the master plan update at overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca. A recorded presentation and short survey will be available from August 11 to September 11, 2026. Feedback will help inform the master plan update. Once complete, the final Master Plan will be available online for public review.
