Traffic and Water Update- Brady/Durham Green Stairway Project, Whittaker St., and MR 55

Brady Green Stairs, Sudbury- Continued construction on the Brady and Durham Street green stairs will cause intermittent traffic and pedestrian interruptions on Brady St., Elgin St. and Durham St. until August 2018. Phase one of the work included building demolition and retaining wall construction are nearly complete. The next phase of work will include placement of sidewalks and concrete walkways, installation of paver stones and placement of fill materials.

Whittaker St, Sudbury- Sewer main repairs will close a section of Whittaker St. from Douglas St. to Isabel St. beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 7 until midnight, Tuesday May 8. Local traffic and emergency vehicles will only have access coming from Douglas St.

MR 55, Copper Cliff- Final rehabilitation work of the CPR Overhead Bridge will close a westbound lane on MR 55, 800 metres south of Power St. on Monday, May 7 until Saturday, June 30. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m and one westbound lane will be open at all times.
