This Week at The Market: Food Drive at the Saturday Market!

Aug 23, 2018

York Street Location – Thursday, August 23, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Local farmers continue to offer fresh produce including lettuce and salad mixes, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, corn, beans and peas, beets and turnips, cabbage and so much more. Farm-fresh eggs are always available at the Thursday Market, as well as a variety of meats.

Grab a snack from our vegan vendors Vegspiration101 and The Busy V, or a hot dog or sausage from J’s Top Dogs. Homemade baked goods are abound from CJ Pies ‘n’ More and La Baguette Magique.

Shop our unique variety of artisans including soap makers, jewelers and crafters.

And finally, Greater Sudbury Utilities will be joining us again to give away free clotheslines and other tools to make your home more environmentally friendly and save on energy.

Elgin Street Location – Saturday, August 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This Saturday the Market has partnered with the Sudbury Food Bank and will be hosting a summer food drive. Bring a non-perishable food item, or purchase fresh produce or a baked good on site to donate to the food bank. Each individual or family that donates will receive a raffle ticket to enter our Market basket raffle. Up for grabs is a basket bursting with items donated by our vendors!

Join over a dozen produce vendors for fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables including local, wild blueberries, local strawberries, Niagara peaches, local potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes and corn. Also visit over 30 vendors for local chicken and alpaca, handmade baked goods, preserves, all natural soaps, jewelry, handmade clothing, household accessories, and art. We have something for everyone!

The Market is open rain or shine. Bring cash as not all vendors can accept plastic. Visit our Facebook page @GreaterSudburyMarket for a full list of our weekly vendor lineup.
