Provide Feedback on Affordable Housing Community Improvement Plan

Residents are invited to view and comment on the draft Affordable Housing Community Improvement Plan and draft amendments to the Zoning By-Law at one of three drop-in sessions being held next week:

The Affordable Housing Strategy is geared toward seniors and low-income earners to address gaps and support population health through affordable housing options. The strategy will focus on innovative affordable housing options, removal of barriers to the housing development process, financial incentives for development and the use of surplus municipal property to increase affordable housing options.

Prior to a recommendation to Council, the Planning Committee will hold a public hearing to receive the views of members of the public on Monday, July 9 at 2 p.m. in the Tom Davies Square Council Chamber, located at 200 Brady St., Sudbury.
