Voters are encouraged to check if they are on the Voters’ List for the 2018 Municipal and School Board Election by visiting and clicking “Am I on the Voters’ List?”. 

The electronic voting period begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 15 and ends at 8 p.m. on Election Day, Monday, October 22.

As voting for this election is electronic only, it’s important that voters ensure they are on the Voters’ List and their information is correct. From now until Election Day, residents who need to register or make changes to their information on the Voters’ List can visit: 

  • Any Citizen Service Centre or Library location during regular business hours ;
  • Clerk’s Services, located on the second floor of Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady St., Sudbury, during regular business hours.

If you are already on the Voters’ List, you will receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail in September. The letter will include a login and PIN number which you will be required to use, in combination with your date of birth, to cast your electronic ballot. 

Electronic voting is a secure, accessible, convenient and environmentally-friendly way to vote. Residents can cast their electronic ballot online from their own device anytime, anywhere during the entire voting period. A variety of in-person options are also available to cast your electronic ballot:

  • At a Voter Help Centre, located at all Citizen Service Centres and Libraries from Monday, October 15 to Sunday, October 21.
  • On board the Election Bus from Monday, October 15 to Saturday, October 20. A schedule of locations and times is currently being finalized.
  • At any one of the 23 Electronic Voting Locations on Election Day, October 22. Voting location information is available at
