Traffic Update - July 15, 2016

Barrington Street, Sudbury: Beamish Construction will be paving Barrington St., off Falconbridge Road, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday July 18. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with flagpersons directing traffic.

MR 35, Azilda: Pioneer Construction will be paving MR35, east of Marier Monday, July 18, and Tuesday, July 19, from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with flagpersons directing traffic.

Kingsway, Sudbury: A private contractor will be stringing cable lines on utility poles, closing the westbound curb lane on the Kingsway on July 18 to 22. The operation will be mobile, moving from Barry Downe Road to Cochrane Street throughout the day. 

Riverside Drive, Sudbury: Rehabilitation to the bridge on Riverside Drive will start on July 18. One lane will be closed on Riverside Drive, between Cross Street and Kilpatrick Avenue, with traffic alternating between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Flag persons will be on site directing traffic. Lanes will be open during overnight hours. One lane will be maintained from July 18 to August 22. From August 22 to completion of the project at the end of October, the road will be closed to traffic. Detour signs will be posted. A reminder will be sent to media partners closer to the August 22 closure. 

MR 80, Sudbury: Golder Associates and Aecon will be performing surveying activities, soils investigation and minor grading work on an existing Union Gas crossing. The work will take place on the east and west side of MR 80 approximately 150 meters north of Turner Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 18 to August 15, 2016.
