Fresh Local Strawberries, Zucchini, Lettuce and More at The Market this Weekend
Jul 13, 2016
This weekend will likely be the last of the local strawberries, and customers are encouraged to stock up to make jams, pies, and muffins or to simply freeze them to enjoy later in the year. Beans, zucchini, kohlrabi and greens such as kale and lettuce mix are plentiful at the Market this weekend.
Book your calendar for Saturday, July 23 when the Blueberry Festival will be at the Market for a blueberry bash pancake breakfast and fun activities for children such as face painting and wagon rides.
This weekend, take a break from shopping the big downtown sidewalk sale in The Market outdoor café. Enjoy some of the finest dining in Greater Sudbury in a casual setting. The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. in downtown Sudbury, and is open every weekend rain or shine, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
