Fresh Local Corn, Strawberries and Up Here Headlining at The Market this Weekend!

Aug 11, 2016

The Market will be plentiful with produce this weekend! Fresh local corn is making a comeback- this seasonal favorite will be available yet again.

We have good news for all our ‘sweater weather’ enthusiasts: our fall strawberries will be available in the stalls. We can feel the crisp fall air already!

If thinking about fall is keeping you down be sure to visit downtown Sudbury this weekend for the summer’s hottest festival: Up Here. As part of this art and music festival, watch local musician Cris Derksen perform at The Market on Saturday, August 13th at 11 a.m.

Even the littlest artists are invited! The Market is also inviting children to help create an interactive food mural from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.

Take a break from shopping and visit our food vendors in The Market outdoor café. Perogy Princess, Fire Flame Jerk Chicken, Treats you Well Bakery, Frübar and CJ pies will be serving delicious food as usual.

The Market is your destination for fresh air and fresh food this season. Enjoy live entertainment, fresh local produce, unique gift ideas and much more. The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. in downtown Sudbury, and is open every weekend rain or shine, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
