A Whole Lot of Strawberries and an Extended Weekend at the Market

Jun 29, 2016

The Market will be open on July 1, Canada Day as a new approach due to interest and encouragement of vendors, consumers and The Market Working Group. Bring your family for a full day of fun with Canada Day celebrations at the Sudbury arena beginning at 10 a.m. Afterwards, bring your family to the Market for face painting and delicious local strawberries!  Face painting will take place on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mighty Canadian Doughnuts will also be at the Market serving their popular homemade treats!

On Saturday Three Fork Farms will have pasture raised chickens and Alison Muckle from Rowantree Farms will be at the Market with free-range Heritage Breed Pork.

While lots of interest has been shown by new vendors, stall options are still available for the season at the new lower price for 2016. To find out more information about the new 2016 vendor prices or to find out how to become a vendor visit www.greatersudbury.ca/market.

The Market is your destination for fresh air and fresh food this season. Enjoy live entertainment, fresh local produce, unique gift ideas and much more. The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. in downtown Sudbury, and is open every weekend rain or shine, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
