Traffic Update - Elgin Street

Elgin Street at Ste. Anne Road/Beech Street/Elm Street, Sudbury: Traffic flow on Elm Street, at Elgin Street, is now moving in the west bound lanes. One lane of traffic is being maintained, in each direction. Elgin Street, from Beech Street to Elm Street remains closed to traffic. Pedestrian access continues to be maintained. 
 
Alignment of a catch basin in the south west corner at the intersection of Elgin Street and Elm Street will tie up the south bound lane on Elgin Street, tonight from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Police will be on site, directing traffic. 

Due to scheduling, final paving is expected to take place on Sunday, October 25, weather permitting. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Police will be on site directing traffic, while paving within the intersections is taking place.
