Andrew Desjardins Stanley Cup Homecoming Celebration!

Greater Sudbury resident, member of the Chicago Blackhawks and Stanley Cup winner, Andrew Desjardins, will be in Lively for a community celebration on July 6, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Andrew Desjardins will be at the Sixth Avenue Playground in Lively with the Stanley Cup at 10:15 a.m. The playground is located at 215 Sixth Avenue in Lively (off Main Street). Andrew will then make his way to TM Davies Community Centre/arena where residents are encouraged to join in and cheer on in the parade procession. 

Residents will be able to see the Stanley Cup, have their picture taken and receive an autograph from Andrew Desjardins starting at around 11:00 a.m. We encourage residents to arrive early, as the cup will be departing the arena at 2:00 p.m.

Andrew and his family will be accepting donations for the Walden Food Bank and the Sudbury Food bank.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the TM Davies Community Centre/ arena.
