Volunteer Dog-Walkers

Love dogs? Enjoy being outdoors? The City of Greater Sudbury is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to walk and play with our shelter dogs. Volunteer shifts are available daily, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Whether you're an experienced dog handler or just love spending time with animals, we have dogs suited to you - some love long walks, while others prefer playtime in the yard.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A love of dogs and a willingness to help them thrive.

Applications are accepted year-round. To get started, email cgs.shelter@greatersudbury.ca and request a volunteer application.

Note: Our shelter is in a remote location and not accessible by public transportation. Volunteers require access to a personal vehicle.
