Architect and Construction Manager

PCL Construction is a long-established Canadian construction firm with a dedicated presence in Northern Ontario, anchored by its Sudbury office. Its portfolio includes a wide range of sports and entertainment facilities, mining, industrial, commercial and institutional work. PCL has assembled a dedicated team for the Event Centre and will oversee all aspects of construction. The City will retain final decision-making authority throughout the process, ensuring alignment with community priorities, municipal standards and guidelines.

BBB Architects Toronto Inc., in partnership with J.L. Richards & Associates Limited, has been retained as the architect for the Event Centre.

Brisbin Brook Beynon (BBB) Architects is a Canadian architectural and interior design firm specializing in residential, commercial, sports and entertainment design. BBB has contributed to the design of several sports and entertainment projects such as the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, the Rogers Arena in Vancouver and the transformation of Madison Square Garden in New York City.

J.L. Richards (JLR) & Associates Limited is a multidisciplinary engineering, architectural, and planning firm with a long-standing presence in Greater Sudbury. JLR has supported numerous municipal initiatives for the City, including the Downtown Master Plan review, and has contributed to local cultural and entertainment projects such as the YES Theatre.
