How to Make a Donation

Did you know you can make a monetary donation to Pioneer Manor in honour or memory of a loved one?

The Forever Caring Tree, located in Winter Park, offers a meaningful way to recognize someone special. Its prominent location has been drawing attention and encouraging residents, families and visitors to learn more.

If you are not familiar with the Forever Caring Tree, it is a meaningful way to recognize donations made in honour of current residents or in memory of former residents.

Donations support activities, projects and enhancements that help improve quality of life for residents who call Pioneer Manor home. Funds raised help purchase supplies and equipment that directly benefit residents.

Charitable receipts are issued for donations of $10 or more.

How do I get a name on the tree?

All donations are gratefully accepted. For contributions of $300 or more, the individual’s name will be added to the tree:

  • Large Leaf (5 to 6 names): donations of $300 to$499
  • Medium Leaf (3 to 4 names): donations of $500 to$999
  • Small Leaf (1 name): donations of $1,000+

How to Donate

Donations can be made by:

  • E-transfer
  • Mail (cheque)
  • In person (cash or cheque)

A personalized acknowledgement letter is sent to each donor or donor group. When a donation is made in memory of someone, their family also receives a letter notifying them of the gift.

A contribution to the Forever Caring Tree is a meaningful way to honour a loved one while supporting life enrichment initiatives at Pioneer Manor.
