Firefighter Recruitment Now Open

The City of Greater Sudbury is now accepting applications for full-time firefighters. We are seeking dedicated, team players in good mental and physical health to join our team. 

Read the information guide and complete a full-time firefighter application form at www.greatersudbury.ca/fire. Applications will be accepted from Thursday, February 1, 2024, to Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

To qualify for consideration, applicants must be 18 years of age, have completed grade 12 and possess a valid G driver’s licence with a good driving record. Candidates must also possess a valid Standard First Aid/Level C CPR certificate. A Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check will be required should a position be offered. 

Firefighting is a challenging, demanding and exciting career. Individuals who proceed through the selection process must meet physical, medical, intellectual and psychological requirements.
