Eligible Residents Reminded to Apply for Property Tax Rebates

The deadline to apply for two property tax rebates on final 2019 property taxes is Monday, March 2, 2020. The deadline applies to the Registered Charity Rebates and Vacancy Rebates for commercial and industrial properties. 

An assessment adjustment application form, under Section 357/358 of the Municipal Act, is also available for a variety of purposes including buildings that have been demolished, buildings damaged by fire, or for properties that should be exempt or have been assessed at an incorrect tax rate. The deadline for these applications is also March 2, 2020.
