ECE and Child Care Worker Appreciation Gala

200 Early Learning Professionals from across Greater Sudbury were treated to a Gala evening of inspiration and connection at the Science North Cavern. Attendees had an opportunity to network with their colleagues and celebrate. Child Care Agencies created displays highlighting the work of their teams.

The program opened with an address from Angela Recollet, Executive Director of Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre and the Young Thunderbirds Drum Group. Dr. Robyne Hanley-Dafoe, an expert on resiliency and workplace wellness, delivered a moving keynote address entitled “Hope-Forward: Steadying Our Steps in Uncertain Times”.
