Community Celebration and Proclamation

Children Services staff, the Mayor of Greater Sudbury and community partners came together for an event to recognize the commitment, hard work and dedication of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and people who work with young children.

The Mayor of Greater Sudbury made an official proclamation. “This year’s Appreciation Day is especially important, as we work toward a Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) system that will support quality, accessibility, affordability and inclusivity in early learning child care,” said the Mayor of Greater Sudbury. “On October 18, I encourage everyone to recognize the important work that ECEs and child care workers do and the difference they make in our children’s learning.”
