Home childcare providers establish a trusting, supportive relationship with families to help children grow and develop to their full potential. Home child care agencies approve, supervise and support caregivers who are interested in developing their own home-based child care business. There is a need for home child care providers in our area.

Licensed Home Child Care Agencies
Home childcare providers receive support from the Licensed Home Child Care Agency.
The Licensed Home Child Care Agency provides support for administration (billing and collecting of fees), recruiting and placing families, advertising, equipment and toy loaning, professional learning opportunities, and networking opportunities with other home child care providers. The Agency also makes regular visits to the provider to offer ongoing support as required.
Families enrolled may be supported with lower fees through the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) system, where eligible, and can apply for a child care fee subsidy.
Licensed home childcare providers receive regular payments, including a Home Child Care Enhancement Grant (HCCEG).
Providers receive regular payments from the Licensed Home Child Care Agency, which takes care of collecting fees from families, and where eligible, can receive funding from the HCCEG of up to $20 per day.
