Start a Planning Application

The City of Sudbury is transitioning to digital planning application submissions, using a web-based system called Pronto. Pronto is an account-based system that allows you to apply for and see the status of your planning application anywhere, at anytime. 

When a resident or developer registers for a Pronto account, they can:

  Submit a planning application online
  Upload planning submission documents such as drawings, studies and supplementary documents
  View details related to the status of the planning application
  View fees associated to the application
  Retain a record of all documents for reference purposes

 

If you are submitting a planning application, your first step, depending on the type of application, is to complete an application for pre-consultation.
