About EarthCare Sudbury | 150 + Partners
EarthCare Sudbury is a unique partnership between the City of Greater Sudbury, over 150 community, agencies, organizations and businesses, and hundreds of individuals coming together to chart our own course for a greener, healthier and more sustainable community.
World Car-Free Day
The City of Greater Sudbury will again be offering FREE PUBLIC TRANSIT on Monday, September 22, 2014 in recognition of WORLD CAR-FREE DAY!
World Car-Free Day is a great opportunity to start doing something positive for the environment and your personal health, so leave your car at home and walk, bike or take the bus ... for FREE!
Simply print and cut out these vouchers (PDF 253 KB) and give one to the bus driver when boarding. Plan your route at Greater Sudbury Transit. Vouchers can also be picked up from local libraries and Citizen Service Centres after September 15th.
The focus of EarthCare Sudbury is on enhancing our environment, creating a healthier community, and strengthening the local economy.
To achieve these goals, EarthCare Sudbury has developed a Local Action Plan (LAP). Our plan provides a blueprint to how we, as a community, can take action to protect our environment, while improving our quality of life and building a strong local economy.
