The Supplies & Services Section is responsible for the tendering process and establishing the plans, structure and corporate policies to ensure that the City has the goods and services required when needed, at the agreed to quantity and quality and at the lowest total acquisition cost to deliver its services. The Supplies & Services Section works in partnership with staff across the Corporation to achieve value for money over the total life cycle of the goods and services and to minimize the costs of administering the procurement process.

Supplies & Services is the custodian of the Corporation's purse and has the responsibility to ensure and insist that the Purchasing By-law is followed.

Our first obligation is integrity in spending the Corporation's funds, to ensure it is in the best interests of the Corporation and the taxpayer.
