The City of Greater Sudbury Honours its Volunteers

The City of Greater Sudbury recognized community volunteers during last night’s Civic Awards Ceremony at T.M. Davies Community Centre and Arena.

The Civic Awards are presented to individuals and groups who consistently give back to the community. These awards promote and reward leadership, humanitarian service and enrichment of the human spirit through volunteerism and community involvement.

"Volunteers are the heartbeat of our community, and the annual Civic Awards are an opportunity to recognize and celebrate their contributions," said Greater Sudbury Mayor Paul Lefebvre. "Each recipient demonstrates a spirit of generosity, compassion and civic duty. I would like to congratulate and thank all of these leaders for their commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone thrives.
