Volunteers Invited to Serve on Reaching Home Community Advisory Board

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking applications for appointment to its Community Advisory Board to address homelessness.

Representatives of private and non-profit housing providers and agencies that provide services to vulnerable youth, veterans and newcomers are invited to apply for the five-year volunteer appointment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Greater Sudbury.

The Community Advisory Board recommends projects for funding and regularly assesses local resources to address the needs of persons who are homeless. Funds are provided through Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy.
