Summer Employment

The City of Greater Sudbury's recruitment pool for the summer employment program is now open! If you applied to our initial posting between January 7 to February 20, 2026, your application has already been received and you do not need to apply again. Applications received as part of this recruitment pool will be considered if we are unable to fill all of our summer vacancies from the initial posting.

The City of Greater Sudbury is always looking for energetic candidates to fill various positions in our organization. Getting a summer job at the City of Greater Sudbury allows you to explore different career options we have to offer.

The summer work term is anytime between April and September. Most positions are full-time, however, there are some part-time positions available.
