2024 Peter Schneider Concert Series

For more than 25 years, new and seasoned musicians have delighted crowds from June to August with free concerts in Bell Park every Sunday evening starting at 7:00 p.m.

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking local musical entertainers for the 2024 season. Performing groups will receive a small honorarium as compensation. Due to limited space available in the program schedule, priority will be given to entertainers who meet the following criteria:

• Entertainment is appropriate for family audiences.
• Performances present minimal logistical requirements to ensure the concerts can remain a free event for the community.
• Entertainers are representative of the diversity and culture of Greater Sudbury.

Concerts are held at one of three locations within Bell Park; the William Bell Gazebo, the Katherine Bell Gazebo or the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. The venue selection is determined by Leisure Services based on a number of criteria, including size of performing group, expected attendance, technical requirements and the availability of locations.
