Tomorrow marks 100 days until October 24 – Municipal and School Board Election Day. This is an important opportunity for all residents of Greater Sudbury to have their say on the future of their city.

Dr. Jane Goodall, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, was joined by the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, to plant the 10 millionth tree on the beautiful shores of Ramsey Lake in celebration of Greater Sudbury's regreening efforts.

Residents are invited to attend the planting of Greater Sudbury’s 10 millionth tree and celebrate the ongoing commitment to local regreening efforts. We will be joined by special guest Dr. Jane Goodall, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, who will be filming a segment for the upcoming IMAX film Reasons for Hope.

Residents have until July 8 at 4:30 p.m. to submit their ideas for recreation in the Lively/Walden area.
