COVID-19 Update – August 3, 2021

As of Friday, July 16, Greater Sudbury will enter step three of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen. The roadmap outlines a three-step plan to safely and gradually ease public health measures and reopen the province.
 

The indoor pools at Gatchell, RG Dow, Nickel District and Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre are now open to the public. Onaping Pool remains closed for the summer months.

Private / Semi-Private Lessons

If you would like your child to have more one-on-one attention to give them that extra boost they need, you may like the idea of private or semi-private lessons.

In private lessons, your child will be the only one with an instructor for a thirty-minute class. Cost: $43.

If your child has a sibling, friend or relative around the same swimming level, you can book a semi-private lessons for the 2 children with an instructor for a thirty-minute class. Cost: $23 per participant

The French interface of our new registration system is still under development, however it is important that the City goes live with the new system as the existing registration and facility booking system is no longer supported by the vendor. Residents can still receive this service in French by calling 311 to have a French-speaking operator process bookings or registrations. The French interface will be launched in time for the fall/winter registration period.
