Municipal Playground Renewal in 2019

Fifteen municipal playgrounds will be renewed and improved this year through a partnership between the City of Greater Sudbury and United Way Centraide North East Ontario / Nord-est l’Ontario. Greater Sudbury Council has approved a phased renewal of 58 municipal playgrounds identified as being in poor condition, over two to three years.

Celebrate the opening of renewed municipal playgrounds!

Twelve municipal playgrounds that were scheduled for renewal in 2018 are now complete and ready for play. Informal celebrations will mark the start of a new play season at each location. Bring the kids for treats, games and brand new play structures! Get together with your neighbours and enjoy outdoor family time!
