Pioneer Manor

Pioneer Manor

There has been an Entric Outbreak declared for the Trillium, Tulip, Cedar, York Scenic, and Ramsey Home Area(s) by the Sudbury and District Health Unit.

Pioneer Manor serves residents 18 years of age and older who have long-term health care needs and who are no longer able to manage in independent living situations. As the largest facility of its kind in Northern Ontario, Pioneer Manor is home to 433 residents who are provided with 24 hours of supervision. At Pioneer Manor, residents receive comprehensive, individualized and responsive care.

Those referred to Pioneer Manor through the Community Care Access Centre have care needs that can no longer be met in the community.

A holistic approach ensures that all of the dimensions of personal care are considered, including the person's spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.

Our vision is to be recognized as a leading provider of long-term care in the Province of Ontario.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide long-term care while incorporating high standards of leadership, innovative approaches, research and development in concert with our community partners.
