Traffic Update - September 24

Ghandi Lane, Sudbury: Drainage improvements will close Ghandi Lane, between College Street and MacKenzie Street, starting on October 5 to October 30. Construction in the area will begin on September 28, with lane closures starting October 5. Work will be done daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Access will remain for local traffic and emergency vehicles. 

*Revised time* Elgin Street/Elm Street: Elgin Street will be closed for water main and storm sewer work on the south side of the intersection, overnight from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m., from September 24 through to September 25. Elgin Street, north of Elm Street to Beech Street, will be closed. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained. Access to Elgin Street, south of Elm Street will be maintained. Access to businesses will be maintained. Police will be on site, directing traffic.

*Reminder* *Festival Closure* Elgin Street: Elgin Street, from Larch Street to Durham Street, including the west end of Medina Lane will be closed starting at 5 p.m. on September 24, through to 3 a.m. on September 26 for Le French Fest celebrations.

*Reminder* Intersection of Regent Street and Lorne Street: Improvements to the rail crossing at Regent Street and Lorne Street will close the intersection Saturday, September 26 at 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday, September 27. Detours will be marked.
