Online Advance Voting Begins October 14

This year voters get to Voice their Choice in the 2014 Municipal and School Board Elections. Beginning on Tuesday, October 14, at 8:00 a.m. to Friday October 24 at 8:00 p.m. voters will be able to vote online from a computer, tablet or Smartphone, anywhere and at anytime.   Online voting is not available on Election Day, October 27, 2014.

Voters received a Voter Information Package (VIP) in the mail which contains the website and pin number needed to vote online. With this quick and simple process, voting will be easier than ever. If you have not received your VIP, ensure you are on the voters list by visiting the Election website at www.greatersudbury.ca/elections. If you are not on the list, or if your address information is incorrect, please fill out the online form to be added and we will advise you by email when your application has been accepted.  Please do not submit more than one request per elector.

If you receive a VIP that is not yours, please do not open. Simply write ‘return to sender’ on the package and place it back in the mail to be returned. 

Support for those voters who wish to cast their ballot online during the advance voting period will be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from October 14 to 24, by calling 1-855-378-0099.
