The City of Greater Sudbury is offering a variety of activities for a fun and active March Break.

Swimming, skating, skiing, snowboarding and day camps for kids are all available, providing local activities throughout the week. 

Skiing and Snowboarding
Greater Sudbury ski hills will offer extended hours during March Break, weather and ski hill conditions permitting.

March Break Fun Camps are available for skiers and snowboarders at Adanac Ski Hill. Private lessons are also available. Book now, as spaces are limited. Visit www.greatersudbury.ca/ski for more information.

Public Skating
Enjoy free public skating this March Break at our community rinks.  Visit the website for arenas and times. Please note free skating schedules are pre-empted for special events.

Outdoor Skating
The Ramsey Lake Skating Path and Queen’s Athletic Skating Oval are currently closed. Please check our website for updated outdoor rink information.
 
Swimming
Take the plunge this March Break with free public swimming, compliments of your local Tim Hortons and the City of Greater Sudbury. Free public swimming sessions will be offered at the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre, Gatchell, Onaping, Dow, and Nickel District pools between March 13 and March 19.

All children 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (16 years of age or older and must remain within arm's reach of that adult.  Additional pool admission information can be found online.

Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre March Break Day Camp
The City of Greater Sudbury is accepting registrations for the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre March Break Day Camp. Children aged 5 to 12 years old can participate in a variety of recreational activities to enhance their self-confidence and create memories to last a lifetime.

The camp will run from March 13 to 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Daily or weekly registration options are available. The registration fee is $29 per day.
