Comment Period for the Transportation Master Plan Extended to April 9

The City of Greater Sudbury has extended the formal comment period for the Transportation Master Plan to April 9, 2017. The purpose of this extension is to clarify the anticipated Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Schedules for the individual projects recommended in the Transportation Master Plan. A list of these projects is available in the Revision to Notice of Completion on the website.

The plan is available for viewing by visiting the Roads and Transportation section on the City’s website atwww.greatersudbury.ca/transportation. Feedback is encouraged via the online form available on the webpage. 

The Master Plan is an update from the 2005 study and focuses on a sustainable transportation network for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists along with their projected needs up until the year 2031.

Once finalized, the Transportation Master Plan will be appended to the City of Greater Sudbury’s Official Plan.
