City of Greater Sudbury Launches Advertising Pilot Project

Sep 28, 2015

For Immediate Release
Monday, September 28, 2015

The City of Greater Sudbury would like to notify the business community about a new opportunity for advertising at the James Jerome Sports Complex.

Approved by Greater Sudbury Council this past summer as a new revenue generating strategy through marketing and advertising, the City of Greater Sudbury will offer advertising space along the outside fence at the James Jerome Sports Complex.

Businesses are now able to purchase ad space on the fence facing Paris Street.

With an average of 30,000 vehicles passing by, the high-volume location has never been offered to advertisers before.

A variety of sporting groups and the family and friends who cheer them on, will create an attractive audience base and varied demographic.

The James Jerome Sports Complex will act as the pilot project’s primary location for a more robust advertising portfolio that will become available in more municipal locations around the city in the future.

Please note all requests for advertising at the sports complex will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
