Whitson River Trail - Complete
The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing active transportation improvements along the Whitson River between Main Street and St. Onge Street in Chelmsford.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Denis Gratton Construction Ltd. will be carried out between July and October 2021.
Work will take place Monday to Friday, 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
Please note these timelines are subject to change.
Construction Details:
• New pedestrian path with amenities
• New pedestrian bridges across the Whitson River
• Illumination along the path
• Site restoration and landscaping improvements
