  • Request a new or additional Blue Box by downloading the Greater Sudbury Waste Wise App, contacting 311 or submitting a request using the Waste Wise tool.

Get a Big Blue

  • Pick up a Big Blue for a reduced price of $10 at the Recycling Centre at 1825 Frobisher St., open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.  
  • Buy a Big Blue at the reduced price of $10 at any Citizen Service Centre. Call ahead to make sure they have them in stock.

What is a Big Blue?

Big Blues are large recycling containers that are perfect for residents who generate a lot of recycling (two or more blue boxes a week) and have difficulty preventing windblown litter. The Big Blue comes with a lid.
