Nickel Basin Federal Development Corporation is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization with a mandate to administer a community loan fund in support of small and medium-sized businesses.

Funded through Industry Canada and FedNor, Nickel Basin promotes economic growth and diversification that creates and maintains jobs in and around the City of Greater Sudbury.

Since its September 2000 inception, Nickel Basin has authorized loans totaling over $40 Million and maintained and created 4,950 full time and part time jobs.

Nickel Basin can assist businesses that are located in the City of Greater Sudbury. This area includes as far north as Cartier, east to Wahnapitae, west to Beaver Lake and south to Estaire.
